(Requirements Engineer)

We're seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of Quality Assurance and Systems. This role is crucial in providing requirements analysis and systems engineering support across our product development, sales and marketing, and customer support functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional versatility in handling diverse tasks and flexibility in managing rapidly changing priorities, whilst serving as a key point of contact for customer interactions.
Capture and analyse customer requirements for solution architecture, feature development, and third-party system interfaces
Represent Micro nav in customer-facing activities, including requirements gathering, critical design reviews, and integration activities
Translate customer needs into comprehensive software requirements that align with solution architecture and operational needs
Review proposed solutions to ensure they meet both customer and internal requirements
Provide system-level guidance and technical advice across departments
Maintain requirements baseline across departments
Own and drive process improvement initiatives within the systems team
Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System (QMS)
Stay current with specialist technical topics to support projects and internal needs
Travel to customer sites worldwide as required
An experienced systems engineer with strong requirements engineering and solution architecting capabilities
Proven experience in engineering practices, processes, methods, and tools
Expert in ATC operational protocols and procedures with knowledge of the ATC/ATM environment
Experience in deriving system component requirements from high-level customer needs
Skilled in stakeholder management, able to engage effectively at all levels
Excellent analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
Versatile professional capable of handling multiple concurrent tasks
Strong communicator with experience in customer-facing roles
Strong understanding of Windows OS
